Free COVID-19 Testing in Silver Spring, Maryland on Thursday

 

COVID-19 Testing at Silver Spring Civic Building this Week. CUPF is happy to retransmit the following message from Montgomery County health officials.

Montgomery County health officials will provide free walk-in and drive-thru COVID-19 testing at multiple sites including Silver Spring Civic Building.

Thursday, Sept. 3  -  1 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Silver Spring Civic Building

One Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring

Testing clinics are free, no doctor’s order is required, and no appointments are needed.

Residents with symptoms should call the Testing Helpline at 240-777-1755 for assistance with testing. The County’s home-based testing and human services screening is available for eligible residents.

CUPF- (Office of Community Use of Public Facilities) is the Agency responsible for issuing permits for community use of County buildings & space like the 200+ MCPS's school-gyms, auditoriums, athletic fields, public libraries, County Executive and Council Buildings' auditoriums, Silver Spring Civic Building, and more.

Roy, I hope we are coming to the end of COVID.  I know Denver is seeing very few new cases, and much less hospitalizations.

I suspect life will begin again with a good reliable and safe vaccine.  In the meantime, testing is an important component to getting this virus under control.

I was tested while in the hospital in July. I never did get the results.
