Class of 2020: Don't Forget to Vote!

All of us need to encourage members of the Class of 2020 to vote in the the Maryland Primary election. Voting is by mail and those who will turn 18 by November 3 will find it easy to register to receive a ballot.

I was a long time non-voter but I recently registered to vote, it gives me such a headache trying to figure out who to vote for.

It seems to me that a lot of younger people (under 30) don't vote. Their attitude is, "my vote won't matter." If they all voted, it would matter a lot.

Hello Roy - my scheduled post for this morning also did not publish as planned.  Obviously, some type of glitch.

I remember the excitement in anticipation of my first voting experience.  It was also an election year although I wasn't eligible to participate until November and didn't choose the winning candidate it's an important part of living in the United States.    I have encountered other disappoints at the ballot box over the years but remain grateful for the opportunity.
