What do you photograph during your wintertime photowalks?

You may need to carefully focus your attention on your surroundings during your wintertime photowalks to capture some interesting images. You may not win photography awards with your results but you will get some exercise and it is easy to set aside the problems of the moment when you focus your camera on the the images that catch your attention. And, you may even have some photographs to share in your blog posts and on Facebook.

I took these photographs in Kentlands, our home community within the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Good morning Roy. The camera on my cell phone has me taking more photos, mostly of my grandson! Enjoy your day!

Hello Roy - while I enjoy walking I don't take photos but I can see the opportunities to discover the many changes during each season.  I leave such things in the hands of others who have a much better eye to capture.   Thankfully, there are many like you.

Good morning, Roy.... lovely photos (as always). But to answer your question... I photograph nothing on winter walks. I hate taking photos and just don't do it.

Your beautiful photos show there is always something to photograph, regardless of the time of year.

Beautiful photos, Roy. The grasses especially caught my eye.

Yesterday on my walk across Pacific Heights and through the Presidio, I took snapshots of blooming camellias, a gorgeous magnolia tree starting to blossom, and acacia trees (kerchoo!)

Roy, don't laugh, how the snow blows into piles!   I like the different formations the snow takes when the wind blows.

Those are all beautiful photos, Roy.  I noted that on Facebook lately, I've been photographing a whole lot of food.

Lovely wintertime photos Roy. We do take walks during the year, but winter is the time we go to the gym and leave photowalking for warmer weather.

Hi Roy,  Thanks for sharing your winter time photos.  Great pictures.  I guess mine would be primarily of snow covered trees and my dog.
