Be Prepared for Winter Weather in Gaithersburg, Maryland

It's not too early to think about snow. In fact, City of Gaithersburg snow removal crews have already been honing their skills, engaging in a friendly Snow Road-eo competition with our colleagues in the City of Rockville (which our Munici-pals from Rockville won for the first time). Congrats to our winning team of Bobby Cox and Jeff Sirk, and thank you to all the road crews who help us weather any storm. Residents and business owners are an important part of the City's snow removal team.
Learn how you can prepare for winter storms and find snow removal information and updates here. Also, follow us on Facebook and Twitter for winter weather updates, and subscribe to Alert Gaithersburg for emergency notifications.

This is a City of Gaithersburg announcement.

Every community has its set of hazards and weather conditions that citizens need to prepare for.  We don't have snow here in Sacramento.  But, we do try to be prepared for any emergency that comes our way.

Good morning Roy - not thinking about it yet.  I am here in Florida and today have to have my car AC repaired.

I am glad that I do not have to prepare for cold weather, I am sure that I would just stay inside all day long if I lived in your area.

Good advice Roy. Yes the chill is in the air, and many of us on The East Coast have to be prepared...

Hello Roy - weather is definitely community- focused.   What happens down the street makes a difference.  Local matters.
