Do you have a conflict that does NOT rise to the level of calling the police department?  Do you want to settle the matter and avoid court cost?  The Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County (301-652-0717) may be able to help you for free. 


They are a non-profit organization that strives to manage conflict in a constructive way.  They offer free mediation and conflict resolution services to anyone who lives, works, volunteers, or attends school within Montgomery County. They have mediation hours at convenient locations throughout the county 7 days a week.


Here are a few mediation examples:

  •              Neighbor dispute
  •              Community associations and landlord tenant conflicts
  •              Employer and employee disputes
  •              Merchant and customer
  •              Small claims
  •              Parent and adolescent
  •              Senior citizens and their family members
  •              Parenting plan after separation

Good morning, Roy Kelley every community should have their own.... smaller areas within the County.... there are so many conflcts today, and many result in violence if not diffused....

This is a great resource, as there will always be conflicts that should be able to be resolved without police or court involvement.
