Book Recommendation: The Gray Man by Mark Greaney

The Gray Man (2009) is the first novel in the series featuring Court Gentry, The Gray Man, by The New York Times bestselling American author Mark Greaney. I enjoyed this book and recommend it for your reading list. There are eight books in this series. Number nine will be published in 2020. Mark Greaney

Mark Greaney is an American novelist, best known as Tom Clancy's collaborator on his final books, and for continuing the Jack Ryan character and the Tom Clancy universe following Clancy's death, from 2013 to 2016. He is also known for the "Gray Man" series of novels.

Goodreads Review of The Gray Man

To those who lurk in the shadows, he’s known as the Gray Man. He is a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible and then fading away. And he always hits his target. Always.

But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. Forces like money. And power. And there are men who hold these as the only currency worth fighting for. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness.

But Court Gentry is going to prove that, for him, there’s no gray area between killing for a living and killing to stay alive…

Roy, thanks again for the book recommendation.  I brought a James Patterson book with me, but too much to do to read it.

Good morning, Roy... as Wayne Martin said... your reading pace is amazing! I, however, am amazing as to my pace of adding books to my reading list... much of it thanks to you.

Good morning Roy - I just finished reading "Beach Music" by Pat Conroy, one of your earlier recommendations. Wow--quite a riveting story, which will stay with me for a long time.

Hi Roy, another one to add to the list. Soon, the weather will bring us indoors, I hope to spend some time reading in front of the fire this winter.

The eight book series should keep Mark Greaney fan's noses in the pages for awhile, Roy.
