Silver Diner to Open Rio Location, Gaithersburg, Maryland

Silver Diner will open its new location in Rio at 9811 Washingtonian Boulevard, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 on Monday, August 26, 2019. Click on the link to view the menu.

This will be the first Silver Diner with outdoor seating and they’ll have indoor atrium seating just outside of the movie theater.

The Rio Silver Diner will be somewhat of a “Silver Diner 2.0,” which means it’ll be a mix between a traditional Silver Diner and their new Silver concept. The MoCo Show

Good morning,  Roy - it's good to see new businesses opening as it reflects better times and a positive business environment.  Good luck to The Silver Diner.

Good morning, Roy... having grown up in NYC and close to NJ, I love me a good diner! Unfortunately, in NYC most has disappeared as they can't afford the rents.

That looks like a snazzy place that will catch some interest, hopefully, the food is good too and people will keep going back.

Good morning Roy Kelley - that is really neat.  I would like to see what a next generation diner looks like.

I love the classic 1950s look of that diner, Roy.  It reminds me of my youth!
