Referral Incentives in Maryland Real Estate Advertisements

 

Does the advertisement avoid any inducement to pay compensation or anything of value to an unlicensed person solely for the referral of a prospective owner, purchaser or tenant?

The Maryland Real Estate Commission prohibits referral compensation of any kind to unlicensed persons.

No referral fees in our state either Roy, on the other hand we can make donations to the person's favorite charity, (ligitimate charity) Endre

California has similar law, Roy!  It is important to know and understand real estate law in the state we practice in.
