Postage Increase Effective Today
The First-Class Mail Forever stamp price increase takes effect today, January 27, 2019. The price of Forever stamps is increasing by 10 percent, 50 cents to 55 cents. NBC reports that the change is the biggest jump in the history of the USPS.
Although the price is increasing, old Forever stamps remain valid for mailing a letter regardless of how much the price changes.

Yes, that's right. We still have a good supply, so we didn't purchase any yesterday. Have a great Sunday. D
Roy,
Yes we knew, and I still have a bunch of Santa Claus stamps from December. Enjoy your Sunday. A
I bought 2 rolls yesterday. Worth spending the extra for now
Somehow, I missed hearing about this latest increase! I did buy quite a few Forever stamps a couple weeks ago.
Thanks, we have about $250 worth of stamps and we don't mail much so we are set.
And yet I still get more junkmail then anything else. Rate hike be damned!
Hello Roy, I got my extra stamps last week, just glad post card stamps did not go up.
Roy what a great reminder, I could have sworn they increased it a couple months ago too... not sure the service improved since, Endre
A sizeable increase, Roy Kelley ... but when marketing with postcards, I still feel it's a bargain. Appreciate the reminder,
Gene
This adds to our marketing budget since we mail hundreds of pieces monthly...that's Ok...it's soooo worth it !
Thanks for the reminder. Good thing I stocked up already.
I stocked up with forever stamps last week, so I saved a little money on future stamp use.
Thank you very much for your comments. It is always good to hear from you.
