Potomac Valley Starbucks to Relocate to the Pizza Hut building

It has been reported that the Starbucks store in The Shops at Potomac Valley in Gaithersburg, Maryland will be relocating to the old Pizza Hut location in the same shopping center and will have a drive through feature.

I did not know that Pizza Hut has closed this location. They were closed temporarily for renovations during the summer and then open for delivery only before permanently closing the store at 12167 Darnestown Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878.

Well, Roy.  Pizza lovers will be sad but coffee lovers will have a bigger Starbucks and the drive-through for their caffeine fix.

Roy, I think Pizza Hut is having financial issues, and are not as popular around here.   Starbucks will have a good location.

I am fortunate to have a Starbucks next door to the health club where I swim several times a week.  I love getting out of the pool on cold winter mornings, showering, and the getting in the car to drive home after picking up a nice carmel latte at the Starbucks drive-thru.

Roy Kelley Yes, Starbucks is making a concerted effort to provide drive through wherever they can. They recently moved one near my house and with the drive through their business tripled! Amazing.
