Aldi to open a new store in Montgomery Village

It has been reported that Aldi, the German discount grocery chain, will be opening a new location in Montgomery Village in Montgomery County, Maryland. Aldi plans to take over the old CVS store location next to Big Lots in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center. The opening date has not yet been announced. Chef Dolores loves to shop at their Gaithersburg store.

Good morning, Roy Kelley I've not heard of that grocery chain.... there are so many discount markets now, it's unbelievable.... tough competition.

Roy, I have not heard of this grocery chain either, but sounds like a good addition.

WE have one of these places in my area and I love it.  Prices are great on most things and I am NOT one that needs brand name stuff

Hi Roy,
We do not have ALDI in my region.  I hope it is a good addition to Montgomery Village.

We have them in Oklahoma City but I have yet to go into one of their stores. Not one is close to our home.

Hello Roy - although Aldi entered our area a few years ago, I have yet to visit one of their stores. Their approach to retailing is interesting and I should take a look. Your post once again "reminds" me.

I'm glad the space will find good service with Aldi, Roy.  So many spaces around the country remain vacant when businesses moves out.

Aldi is growing by leaps and bounds here in Florida and is extremely popular because of their attractive pricing.
