Maryland Blogger: Trader Joe's Brie en Croute

Trader Joe's Brie en Croute

Trader Joe's Brie en Croute

Chef Dolores baked a Trader Joe's Brie en Croute, a whole little brie wrapped in a buttery crust, for the first time for our happy hour at home. This was an excellent selection and you may wish to give it a try. This is a good item to have in the freezer when you have unexpected guests for a drink and an appetizer.

Good morning, Roy. I adore brie... but not heated up. Room temperature with fresh, crusty french bread is how I like my brie.

Roy, YUM, don't have a Trader Vics anywhere close to me, but this looks REALLY good.  Will have to go to the store today.

Looks delicious, Roy.  I am going to make a Trader Joe's shopping list from your posts.

Like Nina Hollander I prefer my brie as she described it, and add a good wine or champagne with it.  A

I love things like that.  Sometimes I make my own baked brie.  I use philo for the crust, and brie, along with sliced apples and chopped walnuts.
