Maryland Blogger: At Home Alone for Lunch in Kentlands

At Home Alone for Lunch in Kentlands

At Home Alone for Lunch in Kentlands

We have a chilly and windy day in Kentlands. I went out for a haircut this morning but decided to defer a visit to the car wash. Chef Dolores is attending a luncheon at Montgomery County Club and will be playing cards with some of her friends.

She did leave some slices of ham and cheese for my lunch sandwich. My beverage selection was the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. It was perfect with my sandwich. Drink responsibly. 7.5% Alc. by Vol.

Ham and cheese sandwich paired with a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout on a cold, winters day. That sounds about right Roy

Love that dahlia... Roy. There could be worse things in life than lunch at home alone... in fact, that's how I prefer mine! Without the beer, of course.

Love the photo and it sounds like you and your wife both are separately enjoying a relaxing day.

Having an occasional beer for lunch is one of the benefits of retirement.  Chef Dolores and I will often split a beer to reduce the calorie intake.

Good morning Roy.  It sounds like the kind of day that a good lunch at home is welcome.
