Comparing Inexpensive Chardonnay Selections

You do not need to have expensive wines for your every day use unless you are very serious wine drinker. Most of us can be pleased with reasonably priced selections. Chef Dolores and I compared Liberty Creek Chardonnay from California with Corbett Canyon Chardonnay from Australia. Either would be acceptable house wine selections. Our preference by a slight margin was the Corbett Canyon Chardonnay.

Hi Roy... no comment on the wine selection as (a) I don't drink wine anymore and (b) when I did drink it I never drank California wine, as it gave me migraine headaches. But... I do love the photo of the orchid you posted. Simply stunning!

Hello Roy - I generally prefer red over white wines. If you(or anyone) prefers a certain wine that's a big consideration in my opinion.  Cheers!

Australian and New Zealand wines are among our favorites over California varietals.

I hadn't heard of that Australian Chardonnay.  I need to look for it!

Roy Kelley - I can easily fall in love with flowers like that! So lovely!

A good bottle of Chardonnay doesn't have to be outrageous in price. I like how you're always making good recommendations and suggestions. Plus, you're cost conscious too! With the holidays here, smart agents who like to buy and give bottles of wine to their clients will appreciate your advice too. After all, in Roy, they trust!

Good, affordable wine is great when you can get your hands on it! I love when I can save money AND live well! :)

Good to know, Roy.  I'm not much of a wine drinker so I rely on the knowledge of others as to what I should try.

Never been much of a white wine drinker but I have enjoyed a few un-Oakedchardonnays.

Expensive wines usually don't please my palette. Thanks for the recommendation on the Chardonnay.
