Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park

Get into the holiday spirit with the 23rd annual Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park. It opened on November 23 and stays open daily through December 31, 2018 (closed December 25). The 3.5-mile drive through the enchanted woodland setting takes you past more than 450 illuminated displays and beautifully lit park trees that brighten the night. In the spirit of the holidays, a portion of the proceeds benefits local nonprofit organizations. Click here for hours, admission fees and details.

This is a City of Gaithersburg announcement.

Dear Roy,

Great activity, if you have some hot chocolate waiting for you at the end of it. Seems the Zoo Lights are really popular again this year too.

Winter LIghts festivals are such a delight to the communities that have them. We have one in Sacramento as well as some of the nearby towns.

Hello Roy Kelley,  Always great to get out and see the lights, I miss the lights in a city on the West Virginia, Ohio border in Wheeling.  They were great with music.
