Pizza and Beer at Abolitionist Ale Works, Charles Town, West Virginia

During a day trip to Charles Town, West Virginia, Chef Dolores and I stopped at Abolitionist Ale Works taste some of their beers and to have lunch. We sampled five beers that they offer in a tasting flight and enjoyed an outstanding pizza, their speciality. Click on the link to view the beers on tap and the menu.

Roy Kelley Make it pizza and hard cider and you're on! I almost went right by you, then remembered there'd be a flower photo. Couldn't miss the flower photo. And lo and behold, a wild petunia, one of my favorites.

Glad you had a nice adventure with good food and drink. What else is in Charles Town, West Virginia?

You may wish to visit the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park or test your gambling skills at the Hollywood Casino. Charles Town is also full of historic buildings. We were in the area for the Mountain Heritage Crafts Fair.

Hello Roy,  Lucky you to find this place a sample the beer and have pizza.  With my sugar level, I do not eat pizza to often but make it for friends, can still toss the pizza shell..
