Recycling Carts & Bins with Lids for Kentlands Residents

Residents living in single family homes and townhouses have two choices when it comes to containers for Gaithersburg's convenient single stream recycling program: 18-gallon bins with detachable lids or 65-gallon wheeled carts. Recyclable paper, plastic, glass, steel and aluminum materials can all go into one single container for collection on your regular recycling day. To order a replacement container or a lid, call the Department of Public Works at 301-258-6370.

Those recycling bins look solid to hold lots of stuff that consumers are getting rid of. A nice way to get this message out.

Good morning Roy - St Lucie gives us the larges ones for our recycleables in there.  However, in Armonk we had to buy our own blue ones.

Good morning Roy.  I'm glad to read that the City of Gaithersburg provides these bins/carts.  We do the same in Martin County.

Good morning Roy. Happy to see that our hi-rise building in downtown Chicago has a recycling program and most residents participate. Enjoy your day!

Roy, always good to hear about the recycling events in different cities.   Such great events for its residents.

We have the wheeled carts here in my community.  I'm really grateful for the wheels.

At my house, more goes into the recycle bin than in the trash bin, but I don't even need to put either out weekly.

Hi Roy.... here in Charlotte/Mecklenburg we have no more choice for recylcing... it's all the big covered wheeled carts. They got rid of the bins (which never had covers here) a while ago now.
