Free Student Lunches

The MCPS Division of Food and Nutrition Services provides free meals to youth during the summer months. Students 18 and under can visit any of the twelve designated locations, Monday through Friday, to receive a healthy and nutritious lunch. No appointment is necessary; the meal must be eaten on-site. Dates and times vary by location.

There is one in Gaithersburg at Forest Oak Middle School and three in Germantown, including Lake Seneca Elementary School, the Middlebrook Mobile Home Park and the Germantown Library. Explore all of the locations here.

A great program, Roy, as many kids go hungry in the summer time when school is out. We have something very similar here in the Charlotte region.

What a wonderful program Roy Kelley , I need to see if there's something like that offered in our community.  Good topic to get the word out on!

No child should go hungry and glad there are summer programs to help feed them.

Good morning Roy.  All my life I have thought there was no such thing as a free lunch.  I may have been wrong.
