New Short Term Rental Law for Montgomery County, Maryland

 

Effective July 1, 2018, short terms rentals in Montgomery County, Maryland must be registered.

A short term residential rental is unit/room in a single family home, apartment or condominium that is available for rent for less than 30 consecutive days through online sites such as Airbnb, Flipkey, Home Away and VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner).

To apply for a license, go to STRpermits.montgomerycountymd.  The registration link will be active on July 1.

The annual license fee is $150 plus applicable processing fees.

Hi Roy... great POS... people need to know this if they don't want to go afoul of the law. And with all the airbnb type programs out there now, more cities are passing these laws. Gorgeous rose you have pictured!
