Hi Roy... I always like it when communities sponsor these kinds of informational events... homeowners should know what's happening around them and how it all might impact the value of their homes.

Good afternoon Roy - it is really great that your community is so well connected to each other.

Governor Larry Hogan announced Wednesday that all new E-ZPass Maryland customers will not have to pay the $7.50 transponder fee, which is estimated to save Marylanders $46 million over the next five years. The decision follows a 2015 announcement when Hogan said there would be major toll rollbacks.

It is good to stay in the know of what is planned and happening in our communities.

Good morning Roy.  This should be a very informative meeting for those interested in what the future has in store for the Kentlands community.

Roy, love your Watermelon Gerbera Daisy;  something so special about daisies.  Nice to always hear about your Kentlands' community...seems the community makes life interesting for the people...great idea - a happy hour and a community planning session...more enjoyable and fun the way your community does it.

Hello Roy --- Kentlanda certainly seems to be a well-organized group of residents with a "can do" attitude.

The Main Street Farmers & Artists Market Sizzles this Weekend
Summer is unofficially upon us, and what better way to welcome it than with a spectacular Memorial Day cookout? The Main Street Farmers and Artists Market has everything you need including great cuts of pasture-raised meats, fresh crab cakes, vegetables and desserts.  Once you've lit the coals and cooked your meat, it seems like a waste to let all that good heat go to waste without cooking something else. Grill mushrooms, onions, and even radishes.  When the coals cool down serve up fresh baked cookies and cupcakes for dessert and don't forget to set a pot of red, white and blue petunias on the table.   The Main Street Farmers and Artists Market is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the Main Street Pavilion.

Recipe of the Week: Grilled Radishes

Grilled radishes are bite-sized beauties that are juicy, flavorful and tender ~ a perfect summer treat to accompany grilled steak.

Ingredients
  • Radishes
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
Directions
Heat the grill to medium-high (375-400F degrees).

It's all yours from 11 a.m. to noon on weekends and holidays, and it's yours all day for SummerFest on June 30 and on the 4th of July.
