Roy, thank you for the update.  It's always a challenge to explain to buyers why Zillow isn't always accurate.

Figure that the court would do that even those it is not right.  A computer pulls the figures with out seeing the updats or the condition of the house.

Consumers quote Zillow an may believe the "Zestimate", however, I have never heard that Zillow represented a buyer or seller.

Maybe so Roy but in the court of public opinion they are guilty, guilty, guilty!

A Deep State judge (originally appointed by Bush II) dismisses a suit against Zillow.  No surprise there.

Like Ron and Alexandra Seigel I have seen to many bad estimates on Zillow! I am disappointed but not surprised!

Zestimates are not the only false valuations anymore. Lots of others now. I found that if you add them all up, average them together you're still way off.

I vote with Debe Maxwell, CRS  on this one...they should be tried again in exaccly that court of public opinion !

Roy Kelley - I couldn't read the link you provided because it wouldn't let me without paying for a subscription to the  Washington Post. However, I found the same article in geekwire.

Thank you for the information. It is hard for independents to slay the giants isn't it!

Roy Kelley - I feel certain that if I was a paid subscriber, I wouldn't have gotten the message and the article would have been there. However, I was so curious about the topic, I just had to find a way to get the information from another source.

I am grateful!

Good afternoon Roy - I am really not surprised.  Some people believe what they want to believe.

Disappointing outcome on this, Roy Kelley ... too many consumers take these "Zestimates" as gospel.  This judge's decision continues the challenges that agents face regarding this issue ...

Sound article by Ken Harney ... one of my favorite real estate writers ...

I have heard from the mouths of Zillow execs that they make disclosures that their Zestimates can be 20% high to 20% low. If they disclose that, how can it be deceitful?
