There is something about Colonial America that I enjoy when I visit those states, Roy!  Old barn structures that seem to originate from the beginning of this country, and quilts.  We have few things like that here in California.  However, we do have footprints from our Gold Rush Days, and even earlier when the Spanish inhabited and created the Mission chain.

I have seen several barn quilts in my travels. There are very few in my area and many barns in poor condition.
