Gin Tasting: Nautical American Gin

On the way the the Kentlands community happy hour at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn, Chef Dolores and I stopped at Montgomery County's Darnestown Liquor and Wine store for one of their regular tasting events. We enjoyed sampling Nautical American Gin. Click on the link to visit their website.

It was interesting that the gin was served with Goslings Ginger Beer as the mixer. If you like ginger beer, you may wish to try this combination. We normally use ginger beer when making Dark 'n Stormy cocktails with Gosling's Black Seal Rum. We usually use the diet ginger beer to reduce the sugar content of the drinks.

Would have never considered the mixing of these two drinks, Roy Kelley ... but it sure sounds interesting!  Thanks for passing the idea on ...
