Tulips, Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA

Now is the time to see the very large display of beautiful tulips at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. The prime time for viewing tulips is near the end. Click on the link to see more photographs and to plan your trip.

Subhash Sharma These Tulips are one of the world’s most easily recognized and loved flowers. The meanings of tulips coupled with the immediately identifiable shape of their colourful blooms make them a comfortable flower choice. They are not too elegant, too romantic, too big, too small, or too bright; the tulip is always just right. Although different tulip colours carry distinct meanings their white hue conveys forgiveness, a successful new beginning and also symbolizes heaven, newness and purity.

Oh, I so love Tulips - I just wish the blooms lasted all spring & summer, Roy! It's like Azaleas - their beauty is short-lived each year.

Happy Monday!
