Lunch from Szechuan Palace in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Chef Dolores wanted to have some Chinese food and stopped at Szechuan Palace in Gaithersburg, Maryland for our lunch at home. She selected the Hot Sour soup and Kung Pao Chicken. These were very good choices and we enjoyed them. Our beverage was warmed Gekkeikan Sake, another good selection. Click on the link to reach the website.

Subhash Sharma These nice looking Spider flowers (Cleome hassleriana) also called Spider plant are native to southern South America in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and southeast Brazil and because of their lovely colour are also called 'Pink Queen' despite the fact that some species of this plant also have flowers of purple, pink, or white colour.

Mr. Sharma is a Facebook friend from India. He now lives in Ireland and frequently comments on my photographs as I post them on Facebook.

That is my favorite Chinese soup. Each one is different but they are all good.

Good morning Roy.  I'm glad that Chef Dolores had some time off from kitchen duties and still took care of serving a great lunch.
