Maryland Blogger: Crab Cake Night at Montgomery Country Club

Crab Cake Night at Montgomery Country Club

Crab Cake Night at Montgomery Country Club

Chef Dolores and I had a Friday evening dinner at the Husk and Vine clubhouse restaurant at the Montgomery Country Club. Friday night is crab cake  night and the special was a large crab cake served with a filet of sole. The meal included salads and two sides. Dolores had the house chardonnay wine and I had the draft Beecher IPA, 5.5% Alc. by Vol. from Waredaca Brewing Co., a local brewery. Click on the link to see photographs of the restaurant.

Dolores has played golf at Montgomery Country Club for many years. They have an outstanding golf course. Click on the link for a tour of the golf course. If you are interesting in joining a golf club, Montgomery Country Club currently has a special offer for new members.

Good morning Roy.
I love crab cakes and usually have them when they are on the menu.  I checked out the course tour link and Montgomery Country Club looks like a course I would definitely enjoy playing.

Montgomery Country Club has you and Dolores covered. I checked out the course and wondered how the "Chef" fares on 13. It looks like a Deusy!

Hi Roy,  Friday is one of my favorite nights out as well - we have fish fries galore around here, though your crab cakes sound wonderful.
