Oh my, I think Scarlet Plume is gorgeous. I'm going to google it and see if it might grow well here. Thanks for the wonderful photo, Roy. D

I don't recall ever seeing a plant that looks like that one, Roy.  I may have seen one similar that had deep vivid pink blossoms though.

Gorgeous photo, Roy.  I don't think we have any of these Scarlet Plumes down here in Florida.

How absolutely lovely, Roy. I don't believe I've ever seen this flower in real life... then again, maybe I have and didn't know what it was.

Hi Roy Kelley it is good to see you were thinking about Bill Archambault on his birthday. It is true we all miss him very much. Thank you.

Now I know what a scarlet plume looks like. How often to you visit the Longwood Gardens?

Debbie Reynolds

We are annual members at Longwood Gardens and like to visit for the major exhibits and the seasonal displays. We also have other favorite travel destinations in the area. It is about 124 miles from our home to Longwood Gardens.

Hello Roy,  Tulips are coming up here with the warm weath but yesterday it was so windy I lost 3 sections of my fence.

The Gaithersburg Latitude Observatory is an important part of the City's history. Observatory Park celebrates that history and tells the story of the stargazing work that went on there for nearly a century, helping with global latitude measurements. The Community Museum is seeking volunteers to staff events that are held at the Observatory throughout the year. Training will take place on Monday, April 30, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. SSL hours are available. Click here for details.
