Maryland Blogger: Salon Red, A Kentlands Favorite

Salon Red, A Kentlands Favorite

Salon Red, A Kentlands Favorite

One of the benefits of living in the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland is the convenience of the many shops, restaurants and food markets.  The business district is within walking distance for the residents.

When it is time for her hair cut and color, Chef Dolores heads to Salon Red at 224 Main Street, Kentlands, Gaithersburg, MD.  Salon Red has been twice selected by Washingtonian Magazine at one of Washington's Top 50 Best Places to get a cut and color.

See the website at www.SalonRedKentlands.com  or give them a call at 240-631-0163 for an appointment.

The neo-traditional community of Kentlands is one of the favorite areas for families that are relocated to the Metro Area of Washington, DC.

HI Roy Kelley - I fully understand the delight you take in walk-ability. My neighborhood is just 3 minutes away from the Sedona business district but that is by car!   It sounds like you live in a grat area.

Hi Roy- I'm a tad jealous because I have to drive about 15 minutes to my salon!  If Salon Red is Chef Dolores' favorite then that says a lot.

Roy, it is nice fun to take an imaginary walk down the streets in the Kentlands community, visit the shops  that you and Dolores know.  It doesn't feel you live so far away....Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Good morning Roy.  When it comes to ladies and their hair.  Finding a good stylist is an important part of life.  I'm glad that Chef Dolores has a good one.

Isn't it funny that everyone sings the same song, "location, location, location." But some locations, though beautiful with ocean views don't necessarily have convenience and that is exactly what I think people really desire.

Salon Red picked a perfect corner location and has served the needs of the people in the community well! Walkability saves gas money too!
