East Coast Hop Project, Flying Dog Brewery

East Coast Hop Project, Flying Dog Brewery

Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland has funded a project with the University of Maryland to evaluate the 24 hop varieties the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is currently studying.

The East Coast Hop Project is a variety pack that highlights regionally viable hops. The pack includes an IPA with Black Locust hops, a Pale Ale with Pleasant Valley hops and a Rye Pale Ale with Pedersen Farms hops. Click on the link to learn more about these beers. Chef Dolores and I will be sampling this selection!

A release party will take place in the Flying Dog Brewery Tasting Room from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Oh, my boys would surely enjoy this too! We are a big craft beer city and my son who moved to FL last year says he has been missing the craft breweries almost as much as his friends and family, Roy! LOL

Hope you and Delores are having a fabulous weekend...
