BOGO Dinner at Ruby Tuesday in Germantown, MD

It had been some time since we visited a Ruby Tuesday restaurant but I am on their email list and received a BOGO (buy one, get one) coupon and we decided to go the the Germantown, Maryland location for dinner. Madiso was our server. The service and the food were excellent. Click on the link to reach the website and view the menu.

I had the Hickory Bourbon Chicken which is a chicken breast topped with a hickory bourbon barbecue sauce. Two sides come with the meal.

Chef Dolores opted for the Chicken Bella, roasted baby 'bella mushrooms and artichokes in a Parmesan cream sauce over a chicken breast. Her selection also include two sides.

We we had the Black Box Chardonnay wine which was also a good selection.

The sinful part of our meal was the Chocolate Fall Cake, one of their featured desserts. This is chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse and Oreo cookies topped with two scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauce, whipped cream an Oreo cookies pieces.

I don't get to Ruby Tuesday very often (despite the fact that there is one about 20 steps from my brokerage office). I will admit, Roy, their desserts are outstanding (and fattening!).

HI Roy Kelley - It sounds like you had a wonderful meal with some great company...the bogo was just the icing on the cake!

Sounds like two delicious meals, Roy.  And, that desert... wow!  Making my mouth water reading about it.
