Just two months ago!

Just two months ago, dahlias were in full bloom in Kentlands. One of the benefits of regular photowalks in the neighborhood is that we can recall those images long after they are gone.

We have chilly weather in Maryland and it is pleasant to thinks about beautiful flowers. I hope you don’t mind slipping back to the last season for a moment of reflection.

It is nice to see those pictures and think of warmer days Roy. We are heading into the deep freeze here for the next week they say.

Thanks Mr. Roy. It is cold and dreary here in West Tennessee today. I was once stationed at Ft. Meade, Maryland and remember the cold there as well.

I never mind any of your beautiful pictures.  I look forward to it every day.  Hope you are over your cold. A

Tomorrow I need to go out in my yard and take pictures of golden yellow roses blooming in my yard at the end of this year.  I find it amazing.

Hi Roy,

So far this year we have just had cold, but little snow as compared with the weather we had last year.  However, with Christmas over, we do start to think about the days getting longer and spring within 3 months now!

How pretty! There is something special about every time of year, and right now it's.. um, it's..... uh, oh, I know, the wonder of a wood stove.

Thank you very much for your comments. Take care if you have winter weather conditions in your area.

We are under a winter weather advisory until noon today - more freezing rain. Argh. I'll take a moment to dream about dahlia weather. Thanks for sharing this Roy. D
