Evergreen Candytuft is a very floriferous trouble free ground cover for a sunny site or border. You have to get a close-up for a photograph like this. This is popular plant in Kentlands, our home community within the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland.

"Iberis sempervirens, the evergreen candytuft or perennial candytuft, is a species of flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae, native to southern Europe." - Wikipedia

I have those in my garden, but for some reason they aren't quite blooming yet.

It resembles a hydrangea and snowball bush. I don't believe I have seen this as a ground cover.

This is a beautiful Candytuft, Roy.  Though, prior to this post, I would have had a hard time trying to identify it.

It's very pretty but I don't think I've ever noticed it growing.

I need to check out if this will work in Oklahoma City. We have been looking at groundcover.

Beautiful photo of your Candytuft plant, Roy Kelley. It couldn't be any prettier.

We expect early afternoon thunderstorms in Maryland. This morning is the time for outdoor activities.
