Longwood Gardens Flower Photographs

Longwood Gardens Flower Photographs
Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, is one of our favorite places to visit.  The location is just west of Wilmington, Delaware and close enough for day trips from Montgomery County, Maryland.  With over 1,100 acres of gardens, there is much to see.
Dolores and I usually start the day with a photowalk through some of the gardens and then take a break for lunch.  The mushroom soup at Longwood Gardens is not to be missed!  After lunch, we head to the Arboretum to tour the current displays.  Plan to spend much of the day and you will still not be able to see everything during a single visit.  The website provides information on the current exhibits and entertainment.
Be sure to spend some time in the beautiful gift shop before leaving for the day.

How lovely!  Summer is my least favorite season, but I have to admit that flowers and fruit go a long way toward justifying the heat and humidity.
