Pincushion flowers common during my photowalks through Kentlands, our home community withing the City of Gaithersburg in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. These are small flowers and are easy to miss if you are not looking closely.

Cute flower.  We have these flowers called pincushions... generally yellow and/or orange and about 3-4 inches across on a very woody stem. Very hardy bush.

Hi Roy,
Thanks for the photo share.  I took a lovely walk on the Wenatchee Riverfront today and the Master Gardeners have done an amazing job of landscaping and marking a beautiful array of flowers and plants.
