Happy Hour Wine: Two Oceans Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Two Oceans Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2015 from the Western Cape of South Africa is a good choice for an inexpensive house wine. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Colour: Bright ruby red. Bouquet: An abundance of ripe berry fruit aromas with subtle oak spice in the background. Taste: A soft, fruit-driven wine with juicy berry fruit flavours and subtle hints of oak. FOOD AND WINE PAIRING Excellent served with red meat dishes such as roast lamb, stews, grilled meat, carpaccio and kidneys as well as with robust pasta dishes.

Roy Kelley Thanks for the wine suggestion.  I will put on list for next stop at wine shop.  We were just there this afternoon.  I should have read this post a few hours ago.

Thank you for the recommendation!  Will have to try it!  Oh, and I love the hibiscus pic!  I have a beautiful, bright orange/red tree on my front porch!  Can not have a summer season without one!

I've had Cabernet Sauvignon, and I've had Merlot.  But never had the two combined in a bottle together.

Hi, Roy. I'm not much of a wine drinker. I will have a glass at a dinner party, but give me a beer and I'm really happy.

This is a pretty good combination. Give it a try at your next family party.

Good morning Roy.  The Two Oceans Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot sounds like one I would like.
