Hi Roy.  I have never been much of a Indian food eater.  Enjoy.

Roy, I like to wait a few weeks before visiting a brand new restaurant.   Then the staff is more knowledgable, and usually the service is better after they have a routine.

Roy,

I have learned one thing about Indian food, if you do not know what to order it can be really bad, but good Indian food is divine! I get a  craving for it!

That sounds delicious and I would certainly want to try their chicken curry, which is my favorite!

One of the foods, we know we can't "do at home," is Indian cuisine. It's simply too much for us. The spices, depth of flavors from time honored recipes are hard to emulate easily. I would certainly visit Diya Bistro in the Kentlands. Let us know when you try it, Roy.  D

Roy,

I looked at the menu, and it looks good.  I agree with Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD when it comes to cooking it.  The simple version of an Italian shrimp curry that I make stinks up the place for days, so we eat it out instead.  Our yoga teacher's mother was here from India and he invited us for a feast that she and his sister prepared for 3 days.  It was a culinary feast I have never forgotten to this day.  I am looking forward to the review.  A

I know little about recipes from India. I do recall friends treating me out to a restaurant years ago.  It was the first time I was introduced to Red Chicken. It was good!  Love the yellow Chrysanthemum photo. So beautiful, Roy!
