Maryland Blogger: Oven Fried Catfish and Sauvignon Blanc

Oven Fried Catfish and Sauvignon Blanc

Oven Fried Catfish and Sauvignon Blanc

Chef Dolores prepared oven fried catfish, farro and mushrooms with ricotta and spices along with fresh asparagus for dinner. The wine selection was Grower's Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, California, 2014. This is an inexpensive Trader Joe's wine.

Roy, was looking for the photo, sure sounds like Delores was quite the chef, and still have never had catfish.

Hi Roy - one of my restaurant clients in Louisiana makes catfish.  Is that popular too on the Maryland shores?

Roy,

Sounds delicious as does the wine.  Do you know that Trader Joes buys the excess grape from some of the best wineries and have them bottled under their label?  A

What a delicious combination. We are getting into asparagus season and I buy it in big bunches. Grilling it is my favorite.
