Maryland Blogger: Japanese Pan Noodles from Noodles & Company

Japanese Pan Noodles from Noodles & Company

Japanese Pan Noodles from Noodles & Company

Chef Dolores had a late afternoon appointment for her nails and decided to take advantage of the buy one and get one free offer from Noodles & Company in Kentlands. She selected Japanese Pan Noodles, one of our favorites, with shrimp on hers and tofu on mine.

The beverage selection was Boatswain H.L.V. (Heavy Lift Vessel) Ale bottled by Rhinelander Brewing Company in Monroe, WI. We found this beer at a Trader Joe's store in Williamsburg, VA.

Sounds really yummy. Was this a special offering or do they do it frequently. I've never been to one of their stores.

Roy, sounds like a great dinner, and I would have chosen the shrimp too, tofu is just not for me.

That reminds me, I haven't had lunch yet.  I think I'll pass on the ale, since I have a church meeting tonight.

Japanese Pan Noodle dishes were a favorite of mine when I lived in Hawaii. I always enjoyed the addition of shiitake mushrooms and soy sauce and/or teriyaki sauce. Roy Kelley, I love your water lily.
