Dolores and I were on or way to have lunch at Longwood Gardens when this interesting plant attracted my attention.  At the time, I did not know the name of the plant an later received help from a Facebook group to identify this as Sweet Pepperbush, Clethra alnifolia

When you have your camera in hand, an interesting photograph my also become a learning experience.

Would you have known the name of this plant?

that would have been totally new to me. I needed your assistance in Nantucket this weekend - there was a lovely plant in front of the hotel with great berries - I tried to identify it with the garden app but I just wasn't convinced that any of the choices that came up were the right match!
