Kentlands Photowalk: Dahlia IMG 5678

I did not need to go far to photograph this Dahlia in a pot on the front porch of our home in the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878. Dahlias grow very well in out area and I would encourage more home owners to plant dahlias in their home gardens.

I love that was the same hue as my 1st homecoming dress many years ago, funny how I remember that because my date was a dud!

I cut some beautiful dahlias in our home garden this afternoon. The season is almost over.

Very nice.  I just cut all of mine and trimmed the plants down for winter.  They were glorious.

Roy I love Dahlia's and have several in my yard as well.  Not this pretty color - it's a beauty!

If I had to label the color of that Dahlia, I'd call it October Orange.  So fitting for the season!
