Gaithersburg is #1 Nationally for Ethno-Racial, Linguistic Diversity

WalletHub, an online financial resource and services website for individuals and business, recently compared 313 of the most populated cities in the U.S. and ranked them based on racial and ethnic diversity, language diversity, and U.S. region of birth diversity. Gaithersburg ranked #1 for language diversity, #5 for racial and ethnic diversity, and #72 for region of birth diversity. Its aggregate score of 72.58 across all three of these metrics earned Gaithersburg the #1 ranking in the country. It was also ranked #1 in the Small City category for communities with populations of 100,000 or less.

This is a City of Gaithersburg announcement.

For out of the area readers, the City of Gaithersburg is located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland in the north western suburbs of Washington, DC.

We have a chilly Monday morning in Maryland. We have not yet had the hard frost that will end the season for our still blooming dahlias.

Have an outstanding week.
