Kentlands Photowalk: Blue Ageratum, Mist Flower, Flossflower IMG 4662

Kentlands is a planned neo-traditional community located within the City of Gaithersburg in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland 20878. This is a very walkable community and one of the favorites for families being relocated to the Metro Area of Washington, DC

This blue Ageratum has common names of Flossflower or Mist Flower. It is an annual plant that is a member of the Aster family. This is a small plant and this one was in front of a white picket fence which is the typical fencing in Kentlands.

Hi Roy. Great photo.  That bloomed photo from a distance looks like a allium.

Good morning, Roy -- I bet the contrast between the blue ageratum and that white fence is quite striking.  Just like summer.

Roy, you always have flowers that I have never seen before, and need to check out the nursery to see if we could grow these.  This is beautiful!

Roy,

Love the picture of the ageratum. and it does lend great contrast to the white picket fence, like Michael Jacobs remarked.  Happy Wednesday.  A

These are very small flowers that you might use for a garden or planter border.

Roy,

I love to see how these tiny purple beads burst into purple rays of beauty!

Mother Nature is good.

You are great at observing flowers and all good things in this world.

How many MB/s is your memory card? You have such wonderful clarity in your photos.

I'm going to upgrade my 40MB/s card to a 95MB/s card.

I do not think the the memory card has any impact on the clarity of your photographs. Editing will improve most of the photographs you take.

Wow - That is a knock-your-socks-off gorgeous shade of lavendar purple.  I'd love to have that hue in my house somewhere.  Unfortunately, it wouldn't go with my current color scheme.  But, I love it just the same!
