Queen Anne's Lace, Dacus carota, is often used in flower arrangements to accent colorful flowers. The red in the background is nature's display of Crocosmia Lucifer.

Crafters also like to dry and flatten Queen Anne's lace to use for Christmas tree decorations. You can paint the blooms or cover them with glue and then sprinkle sparkle dust on them.

Kids enjoy watching the freshly cut carota flower change colors as it draws colored water from the container in which it is placed.

How have you used Queen Anne's Lace?

Hi Roy.  I have used it in flower arrangements.  I haven't dried them out.

Hi Roy: I think it is Queen Anne's lace I saw often on movies to accent wedding shots or clips.

I have seen wreaths made of this delicate flower...much like baby's breath.

They are so pretty when they are dried out and put in a permanent arrangement!
