Kentlands Community Photowalking

Gaithersburg Home Search

Prospective home buyers should take a close look at the communities they are considering.  When you are going to live in the same location for several years, you want to be confident that you made the best decision.  Park you car, get out and take a walk through the community.  Look at the condition of the homes and evaluate the pride of ownership in the community.  Have your camera in hand and take a photographs of the images you want to remember.

I enjoy flower photography so I tend to think that the home gardens not only show pride of ownership but also add to the quality of life in the community.  Photowalking through Kentlands is always interesting because it is a very pretty community with sidewalks on both sides of the street and plenty of street lights for those dark winter morning walks. We have lived in Kentlands since 1994 and have seen the area become one of the favorite locations for families relocated to the Washington, DC metro area.

Enjoy the changing colors of the season and the beauty of the community. Please contact us when you need assistance with your home search.  We will provide the local knowledge that you will want to have.

Roy, it is to obvious, to me, that you manage to take the time to "smell the roses", while doing all that you have to do.

Hey Roy... Better watch that Squirrel.  The pest guy told us that flowers are like chocolate candy to them!  They stripped our yard twice in one summer... So I bought a trap and relocated the critters.

You have pointed out that buying a house is more than buying a house. It includes buying a neighborhood, her amenities, its location, etc. As always the photos add a depth and beauty which goes beyond just the four walls of the house.

There really is a reason why the mantra, "Location, location, location" is often quoted!  Each homebuyer will have their own set of required amenities.  For families, is often great schools.  For the physically active, it can be recreational facilities.  Each community will have their set of amenities, and sometimes their drawbacks.  Those all need to be explored.

Howdy and evening Roy

Roy, not only should Home Buyers take the time to walk a Community they are looking at buying, its a mighty good idea for them to talk with some of the folks that live there.

Roy, great advice for a buyer! Many communities in Southwest Florida do not seem walkable with narrow private raods and no sidewalks! Yet, many walk these roads daily and no better way to meet the neighbors or make new friends! Enjoy your day!

It is always good to receive your comments.

Walking is one of the best forms of exercise and Kentlands is definitely a walking community.  If that is a feature you are seeking, select a location that meets your requirements.

Roy,

Whenever we take a walk through a residential neighborhood, we always are drawn to the landscaping.  Like you, I often take pictures of interesting flowers and landscapes...the idea of walking around prior to making that final decision is a wonderful one.  Based on your Kentlands picture, I would move there.  A

Like you, I look at the plants and trees around me. Gardening is a consideration when I move. I'm big on growing veggies and herbs. If I can't have a garden, I couldn't live in an area.
