We have some beautiful dahlias in our Kentlands home garden, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  The colors are wonderful and it is easy to understand why dahlias are among the favorite flowers for Maryland gardens.  If you are shopping for dahlias, pay a little more for the larger plants and you will have more blooms to enjoy and photograph.

Roy, You take some awesome floral pictures. I have seen them on several of you comments and think I should go see what you have to share. Very nice keep it up.

By the way I am shooting a the Powershot SX40 now. Great camera. Really is amazing how good these cameras have gotten.
