I just returned from a long walk through Kentlands and Lakelands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  I need the exercise and it is nice to be outside in this beautiful weather. 

Walking through a neighborhood to see what you enjoy is something I recommend to home buyers. Take a close look at how the homes are maintained in the area and look for community pride.  Walking is the most popular exercise and you will do more walking if you really like to get out and about in the neighborhood.

The spring flowers are blooming and it is a good time to have a camera in hand to capture the changing colors of the season.

Photowalking is such a great idea, Roy - I'll have to remember to bring my little camera along as I take the dogs for a walk.  Great idea!  Beautiful photo of the dahlia, as always!

Spring is such a beautiful time of year.  My favorite bar none.  Everything is starting to get green and the nights are still cool.  I am always amazed by the number of different flowers blooming.  Walking doesn't have to be a chore when you have so much to look at.

It was so cold here in the Tri-cities there was no walking anywhere!!!  Love your photos.

Hi Roy, Great advise for home buyers to do in a neighborhood they are considering buying in.  A nice chance to see flowers and trees and maybe a potential neighbor or two.

Hi Roy, Walking and neighborhoods are two things that are often neglected in the fast pace of life. And if only folks would be aware and share these two things more, how much healthier they would be both physically and mentally. And for sure our whole country would be better off. The entrance to whole world starts with exiting our own thresholds.
