“Longwood Gardens' newest video captures the emotion that awes and inspires their friends, fans and visitors everyday! Take a peak.” – Greater Philadelphia Gardens, on Facebook
Many of you have seen hundreds of Longwood Gardens flower photographs that I have posted in blogs. Dolores and I always enjoy our visits to Longwood Gardens and recommend that you visit with your camera in hand.
The current show at Longwood Gardens is Orchid Extravaganza that runs through March 25th. This is a must see exhibit for Orchid lovers. The International Orchid Show will be held at Longwood Gardens March 23-25, 2012.
Longwood Gardens is located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. For those of us that live in Montgomery County, Maryland, it the trip is a little over two hours and ideal for a day trip.

Good Evening Roy
Thanks for the post and photos. Beautiful work by Mrs. Kelley. Have a great week.
When I was a kid, I can remember my mother loading the station wagon up with mums on the weekend (she worked at the courthouse all week) to sell door to door for extra money.......the smell of mums brings back that memory every time!
Thanks so much for your comments. Life is better when there are flowers to photograph.
OK Roy I gotta go to Longwood. One long photoshoot and I've got shots for lots of blogs eh? Beautiful work!
Roy, what a wonderful post....those Mums are amazing...that first one is a "do" for a flower (you know how girls get a "do"). Very beautiful. I sure miss the flowers in the comments. ((HUGS)).
Good job Dolores; thank you for sharing.
