Home Remedy For Bee Stings
Mortgage loan professional and ActiveRain blogger Rebekah Radice normally writes about mortgage products and technology for the real estate business. In this post, we receive some personal advice on a miracle remedy for bee stings.
Life is good!
As a child growing up in Southern California, I spent most of my days outdoors and shoeless. I was fortunate to have almost an acre of land and dozens of fruit trees to climb in, on and around. As you might imagine, fruit trees typically find themselves frequented by bees. By the time I was 10 I had been stung so many times that I almost felt immune.
This afternoon I was stung by a bee. I no longer feel immune. In fact, the throbbing in my foot is enough to remind me how uncomfortable pain as an adult really is.
So here I am, sitting at my computer whining about my pain and attempting to find a little known, miracle home remedy to cure my bee sting.
In all of my research, here’s what I found:
1. Start with a little wine to go with your whine!
2. Take Benadryl
3. Whine a little more so your family is either:
A. Tired of listening and willing do anything you ask or
B. Tired of listening and willing to do anything to get you to stop or
C. Keep whining and tell your family to see A and B for further instructions
4. Create a paste out of baking soda and water and apply to the affected area
5. Take another drink of wine
6. Apply Aloe Vera
7. Take another drink of wine
8. Allow family to make dinner
9. Allow family to do dishes
10. Allow family to set you on the couch with the remote and dessert.
Hmmm...maybe this bee sting wasn't so bad after all.

Roy -- a good repost.
It seems like there must not be a cure for a Bee Sting - except some wine and of course the remote!
