 A Rose For You!

One of our favorite locations to visit in Montgomery County, MD is Brookside Gardens. I photographed this rose in September. It is always good to have a camera in hand to capture the colors of the season. I used my Canon PowerShot G11 camera for this photograph.

Oh, what a succulent yellow rose.  I really enjoy roses.  Especially the roses with that wonderful rose aroma.  These days many hot house flowers don't have the smell!  Yellow roses are my favorite.

Roy...love that Rose...is it the Peace Rose?   It is a sign of ever lasting beauty.  Sorry to day that the photo that I had of a rose in our garden has gone missing--more than likely during a clean-up.  Your photo is heart warming. And what a neat title--"A Rose for you".

Thanks for the rose! It is so nice to see all the lovely flowers you share. When you come visit Pinehurst you will have to see the Arboretum and the community college. Not what you're used to I'm sure, but still a very nice place.
