Roy Kelley Sells Maryland Homes : Two Types Of Farming In Eastern Pennsylvania

Two Types Of Farming In Eastern Pennsylvania

Many of us are seeing new wind farms as we travel through the countryside. This is a new kind of economic opportunity for land owners in windy areas.

Two Types Of Farming In Eastern Pennsylvania
Fertile farm land for crops from dirt and wind.  We came upon this wind farm on back roads in Schuylkill County as we were riding a mountain road to go over the Appalacian Mountain Range (Locust Mountain to be exact) just a bit southwest of the Pocono Mountains.  Did not realize wind farms are so close to Philadelphia!  (Gloria)

I think wind farms are interesting. We have a lot of them over in the Palm Springs area, and it's always kind of neat to drive through them on Interstate 10.
